Hi, I’m Stephanie, founder of Rovo Rides.
This company started with a simple idea: movement creates momentum. Not just across trails or through the city—but in life.
The spark came from two places.
While hiking in the Rocky Mountains, I noticed something unexpected: e-bikes were everywhere. Not just on streets, but on forest paths, near trailheads, even outside campgrounds. People were using them to explore farther, connect more deeply with nature, and access experiences that once felt out of reach.
Back home in Austin—where I live and work—I was surrounded by another kind of movement. Tech startups were piloting everything from autonomous cars to robotic deliveries, and e-bikes were rolling right alongside them. I’ve watched my city evolve into a living lab for innovation, and it became clear: e-bikes aren’t just a convenience. They’re a catalyst. For freedom, for exploration, for living on your own terms.
I saw families riding together. Creators and couriers growing side hustles. Commuters swapping stress for joy. It wasn’t just about wheels—it was about what they made possible.
That sense of possibility stuck with me.
For me, connection to nature has always been a source of clarity. I believe that when we move toward what energizes us—whether it's a trail, a project, or a dream—we step into a more intentional, empowered life.
