The Lectric XP4 is the latest iteration of the XP model, a pillar in the eBike industry beloved by more than 400,000 riders. Built for both fun and function, the eagerly anticipated XP4 carries on the tradition of being the ultimate eBike for anything you want to do! It’s packed with upgrades for maximum performance and still comes “travel-size” so you can fold, pack, and go! Now with an in-house-designed torque sensor for smoother power distribution and a better riding experience, the XP4 includes a fully redesigned frame, new colors, a full-color TFT display, new 602 hydraulic brakes, in addition to a new option for an upgraded, more powerful 500 -watt motor version and a longer-range 10.4 Ah battery for up to 50 miles of range so you’ll never run out of fun!
The XP4 Step-Thru has a folding frame: the handlebar stem and the main frame hinge both fold, and the pedals are quick-release so they can be removed easily.Folded dimensions are 37″ L × 17″ W × 29″ H, making it compact enough for storage or transport. The seat post is telescoping, and the steering stem is adjustable, helping riders of different heights pack it down or set it up quickly. The bike weighs about 62 lbs without the battery, and the battery adds ~7 lb, so while it’s not ultra light, it’s reasonably portable for a folding e-bike.
Built on a 6000-series aluminum frame, the XP4 Step-Thru is designed to be durable yet lightweight.Maximum payload capacity (rider + cargo) is 330 lb.The integrated rear rack supports up to 150 lb, which is good for cargo, bags, or even a passenger seat accessory. To help with comfort when carrying heavier loads, the front fork has suspension, and its compression can be adjusted or locked out depending on your load.
The XP4 is equipped with Star Union “602” hydraulic disc brakes, featuring 180 mm rotors, which provide strong stopping power and better heat handling.Brake levers also act as “motor inhibitors” — meaning when you pull a brake, it cuts motor power, enhancing safety. The integrated lighting system includes a 90-lumen headlamp and a brake-activated tail light, powered by the bike’s main battery, improving visibility.
Turn signals are built-in: you can use left/right arrow buttons to signal on the rear light.
The XP4 features a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain with a 56-tooth chainring and an 11–32 T cassette, which gives a good gear range for both flat cruising and moderate hills. There are 5 riding modes (Eco, Tour, Sport, Sport+, Turbo), allowing you to choose how much assist / power you want from the motor. It has a thumb trigger throttle, so you can ride without pedaling if needed. There’s a torque sensor on the XP4, which helps deliver smoother power based on how hard you pedal, making the assist feel more natural.
The bike can reach up to 28 mph with pedal assist, making it Class-3 capable. Throttle speed may vary depending on local regulations.
You can get up to 50 miles of range depending on rider weight, terrain, tire pressure, and assist level.
